About the Artist
Firpal Jawanda is a non-binary Sikh, Punjabi artist based in London. They practice garment making, print & illustration focusing on South Asian chimeric folklore, language and mythology. I have seen and heard over the last few decades how the State has continued to desecrate my families small farm in Punjab, the surrounding village and throughout all of North India. My hope through Seed Sewa is that we can begin contributing substantial funding for resources for ongoing protests.
